Macon Prickett

Born and raised on a farm in Northeast, Alabama, Macon Prickett spent his youth as any southern farmboy does - dreaming of the bright lights of Broadway! (Okay, it worked for Kelli O'Hara so why not?!) After memorizing every word to The Phantom of the Opera at age 8, it became clear that his love for the theatre was more than just an obsession... it was a calling. Macon spent his youth getting lost in the lyrics of Cole Porter and Stephen Sondheim along with studying every musical from Showboat to Wicked. His love for theatre continued to blossom throughout high school when he became involved with a local community theatre and began to foster his own talents through high school chorus. Jacksonville State University opened doors that allowed him to strengthen his passion and provided several unforgettable performance opportunities through JSU Drama and Jacksonville Opera Theatre. After four years of flourishing in both education and performances, working as a marketing assistant at the Oxford Performing Arts Center, a dream internship in New York City, and working endlessly to hone his craft, Macon graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Public Relations) and Theatre in the spring of 2016.

Macon has been a resident of New York City since the summer of 2017 where he has been chasing those bight lights and big dreams daily. Now a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, he continues to audition and search for the next  opportunity to showcase his talents and land him another step closer to accomplishing his dreams.
